Dr. Bovee has been a member of the faculty of Roberts Wesleyan College since 1997. He is currently Professor of Business and Economics, Chair of the Division of Business. Dr. Bovee received his Ph.D. in Economics from Oklahoma State University in 1998. He majored in Monetary Economics and minored in Organizational Economics. He holds a BS in Accounting (1989) and an MBA (1990) from Oral Roberts University.

Dr. Bovee previously taught at Oklahoma State University from 1994-1996 as an Economics Teaching Associate and at Oral Roberts University from 1991-94 and 1996-97 as an Instructor of Business Administration. He has teaching experience in Money and Banking, Financial Management, Bank Management, Strategic Management and Policy, Management Simulation and Managerial Economics. He authored the Financial Management module and co-authored the Economics of Organizational Architecture and Strategy, Entrepreneurial Finance, Tools for Financial Analysis, and Tools for Economic Analysis modules in the MSM program. He currently teaches Financial Management. Dr. Bovee was named Outstanding Teaching Associate in the Department of Economics at Oklahoma State University 1995-96 and he received the Outstanding Service Award from Oral Roberts University in 1994. He has received the Outstanding Faculty Award from a number of MSM groups. A native of upstate New York, Dr. Bovee formerly worked as an accountant for Deloitte & Touche in Rochester.
