SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) is a global non-profit organization active in over 40 countries and territories. SIFE is funded by financial contributions from corporations, entrepreneurs, foundations, government agencies and individuals. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty advisors and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach SIFE's five educational topics:
- Market Economics
- Personal Financial Success Skills
- Entrepreneurship
- Financial Literacy
- Business Ethics
Did you know that…
- RWC SIFE came in 4th place out of 800 other colleges and universities at national competition in 2006.They also took 1st place in other nationwide competitions, including an anti-piracy PSA competition designed by the Motion Picture Association and Warner Brothers and coordinated by SIFE USA and Graceland University in Iowa.
- RWC SIFE impacted over 10,000 lives in 2006/2007
- There are 95 active members on the RWC SIFE team
