Full Time
Full Time Enrollment Expectations
Full-time enrollment is defined by registration as 30 semester hours total during consecutive Fall, Spring and Summer terms or as 30 semester hours total during consecutive Fall and Spring terms.
Students enrolled full-time are urged in strongest terms against attempting to also work full-time. Full-time program enrollment requires intensive involvement normally not possible with other extensive responsibilities. While the program attempts to be sensitive to the demands of adult students, there is a limit to the program adjustments that can be made on the basis of work responsibilities outside the program.
The most common path to accomplish the 30 credits is 15 each semester, in the fall and spring, in addition to an internship. This internship must have 500 hours logged in by the end of the school year, and a minimum of 218 (?) per semester is required. It is for this reason outside, full time employment is discouraged while participating in this program. It is an intensive and rigorous training program, and the students find that working full time beyond the program makes it difficult to fulfill the scholastic requirements.
