Dr. Connell holds doctoral and masters' degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary and is an ordained elder in the Wesleyan Church. His areas of focus include teaching ordination, church leadership, biblical preaching, worship and spiritual formation. Most recently, Dr. Connell held leadership positions at Houghton College and Asbury. Presently, he is a church leader at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church in Canandaigua.
