The brass quintet consists of two trumpets, a French horn, tuba, and a trombone although that mixture may change. The group performs an array of styles ranging from early styles of baroque to modern music. They rehearse once a week. The group performs in the chamber ensembles concert each spring and fall, the Christmas concert, as well as the occasional departmental recital or accompanying the chorale. The trumpet ensemble meets weekly and performs in department recitals and for special occasions.
