The flute choir, which rehearses once a week, is open to both music and non-music majors. The group performs in the chamber ensembles concert in the spring and fall as well as other special events. The group’s repertoire is very diverse encompassing everything from Baroque through 20th century, contemporary pieces. The choir also likes to add variety and expands on many pieces to include piccolo and alto flute, as well as the occasional appearance of the bass flute.
