Degrees and Program

Bachelor of Arts in Music

The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music offers broad musical preparation which can lead to any number of career interests, including private music teaching and graduate school.  The B.A. degree allows students with interests in many areas to take a wide range of classes or double major in other programs such as Religion-Philosophy or Communications.  Because a B.A. degree reflects a braod base of courses, 90 of the 124 semester hours required for graduation must be in liberal arts credits.

                  Music Theory IV or Orchestration

Music History and Literature I, II, III
