Music Together® is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.
These classes are offered for several different musical disciplines: piano, woodwinds, brass, percussion, guitar, cello, violin, viola, and voice. Each discipline has a unique set of age and proficiency requirements, please see this section for more information.
PACE Piano Program
Kinderkeyboard is for children ages 5-7 in which the FUNdamentals of music are presented through games and activities with the keyboard as the primary instrument.
Comprehensive Musicianship, for students ages 7+, includes a private or partner piano lesson as well as a 30-minute class of ensemble playing, fundamental music theory, sight-reading, ear training, jazz and improvisation in a fun way.
Weekly private lessons are offered. Students may begin study without prior training, although prior early childhood music instruction is recommended for young children. Instruction is offered in an approach that blends traditional and Suzuki methods, along with fun fiddle music and chamber music opportunities. All students under the age of 19 perform individually in an annual solo recital and are required to participate in the group classes.
